In Clinch, a call-to-action (CTA) is the means by which an anonymous visitor to your careers-related landing page becomes a "candidate" i.e. someone that has demonstrated an interest in an organisation as an employer —and made themselves known to that organisation — by submitting their email.
A CTA takes the form of a button or link that asks a visitor to enter his or her email address in exchange for something of value — jobs alerts, addition to a talent network, or a free download, as seen in the following example:

Using Clinch calls-to-action, you can:
- Capture emails and build out your talent network.
- Get to know and communicate with candidates even before they hit "Apply."
Powerful and easy-to-use, the Clinch call-to-action tool also delivers valuable information on leads — generating candidate profiles and helping you to build better, more targeted recruitment marketing campaigns that support a higher rate of conversion from candidate into applicant.
Previously, Clinch calls-to-action could only be used on pages built using the Clinch page editor. As of today, however, that's no longer the case.
We're excited to introduce embeddable CTAs as the latest addition to our product offering.
What this means
Clinch users can now embed Clinch calls-to-action on external sites, too — making it possible to convert candidates from any page on your website.
Not only does this feature provide you with a wealth of new opportunities for building out your talent network, embeddable CTAs have the added benefit of fitting in with your current website design, and with no domain configuration required, they're easy to get started with, too.
How it works
Once you're logged into Clinch, go to Menu -> Content -> Calls-to-Action. Click on the call to action you would like to embed. Copy the code from the `Embed this call to action in your own website.` section.
The embed code looks like the following:

Once set-up correctly, your embedded call-to-action should appear as a pop-up.
In the embed code, update the

Click your button (or link) to see the embedded CTA in action.
Always be recruiting
Before, opportunities to attract and convert candidates online were somewhat limited — restricted, for the most part, to your careers pages or dedicated social channels. Clinch's embeddable CTAs broaden your recruitment marketing reach, allowing you to tap into general traffic to your website and surface even passive candidates.
