After attract and engage, nurture —building and strengthening relationships with candidates through communication— is the next pivotal stage in the recruitment marketing process. But while reaching out to candidates who've shown an interest in your company as a potential employer is key to effective recruitment marketing, it can be time consuming.
- Automate outreach to interested candidates by triggering a message send to any individual who completes a particular call-to-action.
- Let an entire list of candidates know about an upcoming recruitment event, or a new job opportunity.
Start a conversation, acknowledge a content interaction, issue a reminder, inform candidates or request additional information. All of these variants, plus many more, are made easy when Messaging is used in conjunction with Workflows and/or Lists in Clinch Talent.
Step 1? Creating the message template.
In the left menu, go to Messaging > Message Templates, and click on the "+" to create a new message template.
- Enter a message subject.
- Edit the message body to reflect your communication objectives.
- Click on "Insert Personalisation" to include dynamic fields that will automatically update to reflect the properties specific to each recipient, for example; candidate first name, or sender first name.
To the right of the compose email block, you will see a Preview of how your message will appear to the recipient.
When you are happy with your new message template, hit Save.
You can edit your message at any time by navigating to Messages > Message Templates from the left menu, and clicking on the pencil icon in line with the relevant message.
And that's it! Your message template is now complete and ready to go to your chosen candidates.
